NOTICE OF OFFER TO REPORT POSITIVE RENT PAYMENTS

TO: All Redwood Property Residents

According to California law (Civil Code Section 1954.07), you have the option to have your Positive Rent payments reported to at least one credit bureau.

"Positive Rent Payment information" is defined as information regarding your complete, on-time rent payments, to help build your credit history. However, this does not include any times when your rent was late or not paid in full.

·  Electing to have us report your Positive Rent Payments is optional.

·   can opt-in any time as well as cancel or opt-out any time. (You may need to verify the timing of each and how that may impact you.)

If more than one person is listed on your lease agreement, each person must fill out and sign their own form to have their payments reported.

Redwood Property is partnering with RentPlus so you can reap the benefits of paying your monthly rent on time.

Beginning April 15, you will be able to sign up and report your Positive Rent Payments to all 3 credit bureaus (Transunion, Experian, Equifax) through RentPlus.

You will receive sign-up information via email within the next two weeks following April 1.

The RentPlus cost of reporting is $8.95 per month, billed directly to your ledger. Registration will be accessible on April 15.
